Fire Safety

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 sets out requirements for the appointment of a special person (Officer in Charge), risk assessments, equipment and procedures associated with a building’s use.

Fire Safety is very industry/asset use specific and a number of guides have been produced by the Welsh Government on the requirements. Advice can also be obtained from the local Fire and Rescue Authority relevant to the geographical area in which the project is based.
